Howa M1500 Superlite Gen 2 7mm-08 Rem 16.25" Black Bolt Action Rifle

Howa M1500 Super Lite Gen 2 Features The Howa M1500 Super Lite Gen 2 is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7mm-08 built around a forged bolt and machined receiver for a smooth reliable cycling action. Its 16.25 inch threaded barrel is suppressor ready with a 1/2x28 thread pitch giving hunters the option to reduce report and recoil in the field. The 1:10 inch rate of twist is matched to stabilize common 7mm-08 bullet weights for consistent downrange accuracy. A two-stage match trigger provides a clean predictable break that helps shooters place precise shots on game at extended range. The rifle wears an HS Precision synthetic stock finished in black paired with a blued metal finish for a traditional durable look that resists the elements in the field. It feeds from a flush detachable 4-round magazine keeping the rifle s profile snag free while still offering quick reloads when needed. An M-16 style extractor and ejector along with a three-position safety add to the rifle s reputation as one of the safest and most dependable actions on the market. At 4.9 pounds the Super Lite Gen 2 is purpose built for hunters who need a rifle light enough to carry all day without sacrificing the accuracy the Howa action is known for.
