Howa M1500 Superlite Gen 2 6.5 Creedmoor 16.25" Black Bolt Action Rifle

Howa M1500 Super Lite Gen 2 Features The Howa M1500 Super Lite Gen 2 pairs a machined receiver with a forged bolt that carries an integral bolt handle and pressure vent holes two design elements that contribute to the action s reputation as one of the safest on the market. An M-16 style extractor and ejector provide reliable case extraction and ejection shot after shot while a large integral front barrel lug keeps the barrel solidly mounted to the action. Tool-less firing pin removal simplifies maintenance in the field or at the bench letting the shooter service the action without specialized tools. Exacting headspace specifications and a bolt face that is true and square to the chamber both support the rifle s accuracy and its lifetime sub-MOA warranty. A 16.25 barrel with a 1:10 twist is threaded 1/2x28 and suppressor ready giving shooters the option to run a can without needing additional gunsmithing. The HS Precision stock is built from synthetic material for a lightweight weather-resistant platform that holds up in the field without the upkeep a wood stock requires. A two-stage match trigger delivers a clean consistent break that helps shooters press the trigger without disturbing their sight picture. The flush detachable magazine holds four rounds and seats cleanly into the stock while a one-piece Picatinny rail machined into the receiver is compatible with standard scope rings for a direct optics mounting solution.
