Howa 1500 Superlite Gen2 308 Win 16.25" Threaded Barrel 3-Round Rifle

Howa 1500 Superlite Gen2 Features The Howa 1500 Superlite Gen2 is built around a forged bolt and machined receiver paired with a tool-less firing pin removal system that simplifies field maintenance without special tools. The reliable M-16 style extractor and ejector combine with stringent exacting headspace specifications to keep the action running true and consistent shot after shot. Bolt faces are square to the chamber and the two-stage match trigger breaks cleanly giving the shooter a crisp predictable trigger pull for precision work at distance. A 1:10 twist rate stabilizes a wide range of .308 Win bullet weights while the 1/2x28 threaded muzzle allows a suppressor or muzzle device to be added for reduced recoil and noise. An HS Precision synthetic stock finished in Black with Black webbing keeps the rifle light while resisting warping from moisture and temperature swings that can affect wood stocks. The Matte Blue steel receiver is drilled and tapped and wears a one-piece Picatinny rail so a scope can be mounted directly without needing separate bases. A flush detachable magazine keeps the 3+1 capacity compact and snag-free in a pack or scabbard and the 3-position safety gives the shooter fast tactile control over the rifle s state. At 4.6 lbs and backed by Howa s sub-MOA lifetime warranty the 1500 Superlite Gen2 is a purpose-built companion for hunters covering serious ground on foot.
