Description
The Howard Leight Impact Sport is an electronic hearing protector for shooters and others working around firing noise. It is designed to block damaging sounds above 82 dB while amplifying ordinary ambient sounds such as conversation and range commands, so the wearer can hear what is happening around them.
The earmuffs use directional stereo microphones and a low-profile earcup design that allows full clearance of a firearm stock. A ventilated inner headband reduces pressure on the head, an outer headband is built for durability, and Quick-Click height adjustment and snap-in ear cushions help with fit. An automatic shut-off after four hours extends battery life.
An audio input jack and cord let the wearer connect an MP3 player or other audio device. The unit is rated at 22 dB and folds flat for compact storage.
