Howard Leight Impact Sport Electronic Earmuff MultiCam 22dB NRR

The Howard Leight Impact Sport Electronic Earmuff in MultiCam Black is hearing protection for shooters that also lets range commands and normal conversation come through. Its built-in directional microphone amplifies low-level sound and is designed to shut out loud impulse noises such as gunshots. The muffs fold for compact storage and use a soft headband for comfort.

The earmuffs carry a 22 dB noise reduction rating (NRR) and are rated to amplify low-level sound up to four times, with amplified sound limited to a safe 82 dB according to the product text. They run on three AAA batteries and shut off automatically after four hours to conserve power. The finish is matte and the body is plastic.

The muffs connect to an iPod, MP3 player and other audio devices.
