HSM/Hunting Shack Varmint .17 Rem 25 Grain 50-Rounds JHP

HSM/Hunting Shack Varmint Features The HSM/Hunting Shack Varmint load fires a 25 grain jacketed hollow point bullet in .17 Rem at a muzzle velocity of 4025 feet per second a combination built for flat trajectories and rapid expansion on small game. Generating 900 foot pounds of energy at the muzzle this load delivers enough terminal performance to quickly dispatch varmints and predators while minimizing pelt or hide damage on fur bearing species. The light fast bullet is well suited to the kind of extended range shooting common in open country varmint hunting. HSM builds this load specifically within its Varmint line which is tailored to hunters chasing small fast moving targets across a range of popular calibers. Each round is built on a reloadable brass case with a boxer primer giving handloaders the option to recover and reload their fired brass rather than discarding it. The 50 round count per box gives hunters enough ammunition for an extended day in the field without needing to restock mid hunt. HSM s reputation in the varmint hunting community comes from offering a complete lineup across numerous popular varmint calibers giving shooters a consistent choice of ammunition regardless of which rifle they are running. This .17 Rem load is a practical option for anyone looking for fast flat shooting varmint ammunition.
