Built from the chassis of the technologically advanced and proven IR Defense REAP-IR thermal weapon sight, the SNIPE-IR 640x480 Thermal Clip-On sight is constructed to fulfill the objective of a dedicated thermal clip-on sight to be used in conjuction with a magnified day optic. Designed to work with the Trijicon 4x32 ACOG battle sight, the SNIPE-IR performs great with 3x and 4x day optics as well as a large sampling of variable magnification optics. This unit's 640x480 12um Micron VOx sensor allows superior visibility and identification of targets through dust, smoke, and complete darkness. Combined with the Emagin OLED micro display, this thermal unit's ease of use and detail allow the user a superior thermal optic. An on-board thumbstick control allows the user to quickly and intuitively cycle through configuration options and feature toggles. IR Defense has invested time and testing to make sure that the user interface for this device is quickly learned and easily retained - users of complicated devices quickly understand that fancy features mean little if the user can't quickly and easily access them, and IR Defense has remedied this problem by making the interface for their weapon sights highly efficient and simple.
