Iver Johnson 1911 10mm 5.75" Threaded Barrel

Iver Johnson 1911 Barrel Features The Iver Johnson Barrel is machined from 4140 steel a material known for its strength and ability to handle the pressures generated by the 10mm Automatic cartridge. A 5.75 inch barrel length gives government size 1911 pistols a longer sight radius while the threaded 0.578x28 muzzle accepts compensators or suppressors for shooters wanting added control or reduced report. The 1:16 inch twist rate combined with 6 land and groove rifling is matched to stabilize 10mm projectiles for consistent accuracy downrange. A black oxide finish protects the barrel from corrosion while giving it a classic low-glare appearance that matches most 1911 finishes. This barrel is designed for government size 1911 pistols and ships with a thread cap to protect the muzzle threads when a device is not installed. Some fitting may be required during installation and the barrel does not include a link or pin so builders should plan accordingly when swapping this barrel into an existing pistol. For 1911 owners wanting to add threaded barrel capability in 10mm without purchasing an entirely new pistol this barrel offers a straightforward upgrade path. The Iver Johnson Barrel for 1911 in 10mm is available now at ARMSAGORA.
