Iver Johnson 700 Youth 20 Gauge 3" 18.5" Break Action Shotgun

Iver Johnson 700 Youth Features The Iver Johnson 700 Youth is a simple reliable break-action shotgun chambered in 20 Gauge designed around the needs of younger and smaller-statured shooters. Its 18.5 barrel is scaled to a compact 33.5 overall length making the gun easier to shoulder carry and swing for a shooter still growing into a full-size firearm. The black synthetic stock offers a lightweight weather-resistant alternative to wood standing up well to the bumps and scrapes common during a young shooter s first seasons afield. A 3 chamber allows the shotgun to handle standard and magnum 20 gauge shotshells for added versatility. Break-action operation keeps the manual of arms simple a real advantage for new shooters learning safe gun handling habits from the very start. The design also folds for easy storage letting the shotgun tuck away neatly in a closet safe or vehicle without taking up much space. Finished entirely in black the 700 Youth presents a clean no-frills look suited to its purpose as an introductory field gun. For families introducing a young shooter to hunting or clay target shooting the Iver Johnson 700 Youth offers a straightforward appropriately sized starting point.
