J.P. Sauer & Sohn Side by Side 12 Gauge Shotgun

This J.P. Sauer & Sohn side-by-side shotgun in 12 gauge is a classic example of the fine sporting arms produced by one of Germany's most respected firearms manufacturers. Based on the serial number 531942, the shotgun was likely manufactured in the pre-World War II era, though an exact production date would require factory records. Condition appears good for its age, with the barrels retaining much of their finish and the receiver showing honest wear consistent with decades of use. The checkered walnut stock and forend remain attractive, exhibiting handling marks and finish wear that add to the gun's vintage character.
