Japanese World War 2 era service rifle (possibly Arisaka)

This appears to be an Arisaka rifle from the WW2 era. It is in remarkably good condition, considering its age, with only the aforementioned gouges and minor scratches on the wood. It has the flower emblem on the receiver, which is valued on surplus J
