The JP EnterprisesA(R) AR-10 Variable Mass Operating System Bolt Carrier Group w/ .308 High Pressure EnhancedBolt allows for enhanced tunability of your rifle's operating system and helps to overcome fouling build-up. A roller-burnished bore provides frictionless operation while a corrosion-resistant QPQ finish provides natural lubricity and stainless steel construction offers long-lasting strength. Increased bearing surfaces slow down wear and provide longer component life while a longer cocking pad offers optimal reliability. What's more, an enhanced ejector, extractor, and gas ring help to reduce internal friction while optimizing function. The EnhancedBolt(TM) is compatible with the JP LRP-07(TM) and the DPMS LR-308 platforms (or clones thereof) only and cannot be used to replace bolts in the Armalite AR-10 platform (or clones thereof). Requires DPMS-pattern bolt, firing pin, and cam pin. Package includes carrier, EnhancedBolt(TM) assembly, cam pin, firing pin, firing pin retainer pin, and instruction sheet. The large-frame VMOS(TM) carrier uses the same steel and tungsten weights as GEN 2 Silent Captured Spring units. Only the forward two masses are reconfigurable. The rear-most steel mass cannot be exchanged. This carrier should not be run stripped (i.e., without any masses). This carrier will not cycle with a standard buffer retainer plunger installed and should be used only with a Silent Captured Spring. Because our Law Tactical Folder Silent Captured Springs require use of a buffer retainer plunger to work, they are also not compatible with this VMOS(TM) bolt carrier.
