Auto-Ordnance TAO50 416 Barrett 29" Bolt Action Rifle

Auto-Ordnance TAO50 Features The Auto-Ordnance TAO50 is built around a bolt action system chambered for the powerful .416 Barrett cartridge a round designed to deliver far greater energy on target than smaller magnums at extended distances. The 29 barrel finished in blue and cut with a 1-in-15 twist rate is matched to the cartridge s heavy long-for-caliber bullets to stabilize them through their full flight path. A 10-round magazine keeps the rifle fed for repeated strings of fire without slowing the shooter down between shots. The classic Thompson bullet logo engraved on the lower receiver and muzzle brake ties this rifle back to the Auto-Ordnance heritage while delivering thoroughly modern long-range performance. The Magpul PRS Gen 3 stock is collapsible and folding letting the shooter dial in length of pull and comb height for a precise repeatable cheek weld behind glass. An ambidextrous thumb safety means the rifle runs the same whether the shooter is right or left handed a real advantage when the rifle is shared or trained with across a team. At 25.5 lbs the TAO50 carries the mass needed to tame recoil from a cartridge this large keeping the shooter on target for faster follow up shots. Built for sharpshooters and long-range specialists who need a dedicated platform for serious distance work the Auto-Ordnance TAO50 in .416 Barrett is ready for the hardest targets a shooter will face.
