The standard gas relief ports have been relocated from the ejection-port side to the Magazine feed lip channels underneath, reducing debris and gas vented towards the shooter's face. Two emergency relief ports on the bottom of the carrier prevent structural damage in case of a case head separation. Testing confirms that venting gases through the Magazine well does not affect Magazine feeding or ammunition function, with minimal additional heat generated. The dual ejector system uses mil-spec ejectors and springs, requiring no proprietary components. Ejector holes are precisely centered on the lugs, preserving bolt strength. This system enhances ejection reliability and ensures a consistent ejection pattern.
