Description
The Kershaw Covalent is a mid-size folding knife built for everyday carry and general work tasks. It uses a drop point blade with a flat grind, made from D2 tool steel with a black oxide finish, and it deploys with a flipper on KVT ball bearings.
The blade is 3.2 inches long and the knife is 7.6 inches overall, weighing 2.8 ounces. D2 high-carbon tool steel is wear resistant and offers good edge retention. The glass-reinforced nylon handle is gray and has textured pockets for grip.
The DuraLock uses a solid steel crossbar to hold the blade open and is ambidextrous, so it can be released from either side. The pocket clip is reversible for left or right carry.
