Description
The Kershaw Dawnstar is a folding knife built for everyday cutting tasks. It uses a hawkbill blade, whose downward curve is suited to boxes, rope and similar cuts, and its false edge near the top of the blade allows efficient push cuts. The knife opens with assisted opening and a built-in flipper, and the textured, ergonomic handle is designed for a secure grip.
The 3.5-inch blade is made of 8Cr13MoV steel, which offers good corrosion resistance and strength. The BlackWash finish is intended to help hide use scratches. The knife has a 7.9-inch overall length and weighs 3.4 ounces. A custom backspacer, a circular sharpening choil and weight-relieving pockets in the handle reduce carry weight.
The deep-carry pocket clip is reversible for left- or right-side carry.
