Kestrel 2500NV Pocket Weather Meter Digital Altimeter Olive Drab

The Kestrel 2500NV is a handheld electronic weather meter for measuring wind speed, temperature and air pressure in the field. It is intended for long range shooting and hunting, as well as outdoor activities such as skiing and mountain climbing where current weather conditions matter.

The meter includes a user-replaceable impeller for wind speed readings, an external temperature sensor that can measure water, snow and open air, and a waterproof casing. Its air pressure sensor provides altitude and barometric information, and a three-hour pressure trend indicator helps anticipate changes in weather. The unit is finished in olive drab green.

The 2500NV is a standalone instrument and is not described as including mounts or accessories beyond the meter itself. Its night-vision compatible display is noted in the source material, though the exact display specifications are not provided.
