Kimber 1911 Commander Magazine 45 ACP 8-Round Stainless Steel

This is a stainless steel magazine for Kimber 1911 full-size pistols chambered in .45 ACP. It is a factory replacement part, and the retailer describes it as manufactured to the same specifications and tolerances as the original magazine, intended to provide a fit and operation matching the pistol it was built for.

The magazine holds 8 rounds in a single-stack configuration and carries a silver stainless finish. Extra magazines are useful for reducing reload time at the range and as a backup if the primary magazine is misplaced.

Note that the magazine does not fit flush with the frame and extends beyond the bottom of the grip, as is typical of full-length grip designs.
