Description
The Kimber Mountain Ascent Peak is a bolt-action centerfire rifle chambered in 7mm Remington Magnum, built for hunters who want a lightweight rifle for mountain terrain. It is finished in camo with KimPro II coating and ships without iron sights, so it is intended to be used with an optic or scope.
The rifle has an aluminum receiver, a 26-inch threaded barrel, and an overall length of 47.9 inches. It weighs 7.3 pounds and holds 4 rounds. The action is a Kimber Mountain Ascent design with a fluted bolt body and hollow bolt knob, and the stock uses an aluminum bedding block system with a featherweight composite stock.
The 7mm Remington Magnum chambering is the only caliber offered in this configuration. The raw retailer text notes that this model excludes the bag cut out.
