L.C. Smith ~ Field Grade ~ No Cal Markings

(SKU: 5600915) This L.C. Smith Field Grade 12 gauge side-by-side shotgun features 2 3/4" chambers with fixed Modified/Full chokes. This shotgun shows honest field wear consistent with age, including finish wear on the receiver, barrels, and wood furniture. The stock and forend retain an attractive appearance with visible checkering, making this a classic American double gun that would appeal to both collectors and upland hunters. No accessories are included. The L.C. Smith Field Grade was one of the most popular side-by-side shotguns produced by Hunter Arms, known for its reliable sidelock design, quality craftsmanship, and strong reputation in the field. The serial number FW87438 indicates production during the Marlin-era "FW" series, likely dating to the late 1940s or early 1950s.
