Description
The LANTAC Lamprey Plan B Short is a flash hider for 5.56x45mm NATO rifles, designed to reduce muzzle flash and to mount on the Plan-B HUB. It uses a four-tine toothed design intended to disrupt gas flow and reduce flash intensity and duration.
The device is machined from AISI 4140 steel, hardened to approximately 55 HRC and finished with QPQ (Quench Polish Quench) nitriding, which the manufacturer describes as meeting AMS2753D standards for corrosion resistance. It is black in color and has a 1/2-28 thread pitch.
It fits Plan-B HUB and 1/2-28 threaded barrels. Each unit is serial numbered and comes with a timing shim set.
