A Type 3 hardcoat anodized finish in a deep black class 2 coating adds wear resistance and protects the handguard from the elements during field use. The handguard s ultra narrow diameter improves grip ergonomics compared to bulkier free float designs making it easier for shooters of different hand sizes to establish a solid hold. Its free float design keeps the handguard from contacting the barrel helping to preserve accuracy under sustained fire. A patented anti slip and anti rotation system reinforces the handguard at the receiver end area and allows for strong secure clamping onto the barrel nut.
