Lee Six Cavity Mold .358 158gr-rf No Handles. The precision mold is made from aluminum blocks that resist rusting and are attached to steel handles with sturdy grips. It has a hard anodized sprue plate that is cam operated and holds the tempered steel spring washers in place. For easy release the sprue plate slides out and pivots up to expose a spring-steel sprue ring. Prior to use the mold should be shimmed and tapped firmly in place with a hammer. After sprueing close the mold and slide it out; the hardened steel pins will lay flat on the sprue ring. The block halves should be shimmed and locked in place with a hammer and chisel for a perfect sprue. For added stability and strength the cavity plugs are permanently sealed with a hardened steel shaft bushing. Then when the mold is cool punch the handle down to release the gas from the sprue pins.
