Although softer than blued steel, aluminum offers impressive benefits.Aluminum is light, so there is not as much risk for fatigue on the bullet caster, it can heat up and cool down fast, and it is rust resistant. In addition, the block halves for this mould are CNC machined, which means they produce more perfect bullets. This mould also boasts a hard anodized sprue plate with cam control.
