This adjustable center column positioning works along with the independent leg spread to allow quick leveling of a tripod head when shooting on uneven terrain. In addition to being easily positioned, the center column is removable and reversible for positioning a camera upside down and low to the ground for low-perspective and macro photography. The included short center column provides low positioning with a wide leg spread for added stability. The BV-1 Mini Compact Fluid Head is a durable aluminum mini fluid head weighs only 1 lb yet supports up to 6.6 lb, and it features a flat base with an Arca-type sliding quick release plate as well as 360° panning and -75 to 90° tilting for a wide range of movement. It also features measurement markings on the base and a quick release plate to assist with balancing. Independent pan and tilt locks allow you to keep one axis locked while adjusting the other, or you can lock off the head entirely.
