LMT Defense L129A1 Features The LMT Defense L129A1 is designed for superior accuracy and modularity featuring LMT's patented monolithic MWSA(R) upper receiver milled from a single aerospace aluminum forging. This system uses two side-accessible locking bolts to secure the barrel extension providing 360-degree engagement and allowing for quick barrel changes while maintaining consistent return-to-zero performance. The CQBMWS upper receiver offers extensive mounting capability with 19.25 inches of uninterrupted Picatinny rail at the 12 o'clock position 9-inch side rails at 3 and 9 o'clock and a 7-inch rail at 6 o'clock for full accessory integration. The MWSA(R) barrels feature a low-profile gas block and straight gas tube enhanced with a proprietary coating and cryogenic treatment for long-term durability and heat resistance. The LM308MWS lower receiver is equipped with a precision EDM-machined two-stage trigger ambidextrous magazine release and safety selector and an LMT SOPMOD stock for enhanced ergonomics and control.
