The LMT monolithic Rail Platform (MRP ) upper receiver is engineered from a single-piece of forged aerospace-grade aluminum, integrating both the receiver and handguard. It features a proprietary locking mechanism that secures the barrel using two bolts, which are accessible from the right side of the receiver. A standard T-30 Torx bit is the only tool required for bolt tightening. This receiver is compatible exclusively with the patented LMT monolithic barrel assembly, which includes a low-profile gas block and a straight gas tube. The MRP-L M-LOK 9.25 model is a carbine-length receiver designed to accommodate barrels ranging from 10-1/2 inches - 16 inches, with M-LOK compatible attachment points on all eight sides. Additionally, it includes four QD sling swivel attachment locations. Please note that the barrel is not included.
