NAVY ARMS ~ LITHGOW SMLE III* ~ .45-70 GOVERNMENT

The Navy Arms Lithgow SMLE is a remanufactured rifle with a heavy contour barrel, chambered for .45-70 Gov. They are made to be a "brush carbine" and have a very fast cycling bolt due to the cock on close action. They have sporting rifle sights, a thick gel-type recoil pad, and this one has a lace-on comb pad. The .45-70 chamber required magazine modification that limits this to 3 rounds in the mag. Note: Standard pressure loads are highly recommended for these rifles.
