The Lockdown Barrel Rest is a magnetic polymer rack that attaches to the exterior of a gun safe or vault and gives long guns a temporary staging position. It is intended to hold rifles and shotguns outside the safe so they do not have to be carried in an armful while accessing the safe.
The rest uses vinyl-backed magnets that hold it to the safe body while protecting the safe's finish. Its overmolded contact points are meant to protect the finish of the firearms set on it.
