Description
The Lockdown Silica 450G is a desiccant dehumidifier bag for enclosed storage, intended to help control moisture in gun safes, cabinets, drawers, closets and vaults. Its silica gel absorbs humidity from the air inside the enclosure, which helps reduce condensation, rust, mildew and corrosion on stored firearms and other items.
The bag holds 450 grams of silica gel desiccant and is rated to protect up to 33 cubic feet of enclosed space. The crystals change color as they become saturated, giving a visual cue for when they need service. The desiccant can be recharged in an oven, so the bag can be reused.
The bag is white and is sold as a safe accessory for use with gun safes, cabinets, drawers and closets.
