LWRC Individual Carbine MKII 5.56 NATO 16.10" 30-Round Rifle

The LWRC Individual Carbine MKII is a semi-automatic AR-15 pattern rifle chambered for 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington. It uses LWRCI's proprietary short-stroke gas piston system, which keeps combustion byproducts out of the action and is designed to improve reliability in sand, mud and extreme heat compared with direct impingement rifles.

The rifle has a 16.10-inch cold hammer forged steel barrel with spiral fluting and a 1:7 twist rate to stabilize a range of 5.56 and .223 projectile weights. The barrel is threaded. The Monoforge one-piece upper receiver joins the barrel and upper, and the nickel boron coated bolt carrier reduces friction. The rifle weighs 7.30 pounds and has ambidextrous controls and a Picatinny top rail with LWRCI Skirmish back-up iron sights that fold flush.

The receiver is finished in Tungsten Gray Cerakote. The rifle includes a 30-round Magpul PMAG and an LWRC Compact stock and Ultra Combat grip.
