The Magpul MOE/CTR Cheek Riser is a black polymer accessory for AR-15 rifles that raises the shooter's cheek to better align the eye with an optic mounted on the rifle. It snaps onto Magpul CTR and MOE buttstocks without tools or permanent modification, so it can be added or removed as needed.
The riser is rated at 0.75 inch in height. Its design places the cheek at a consistent position relative to the sight line, which can help with optic alignment when a higher cheek weld is needed.
Because the riser sits low, it can interfere with the AR-15 charging handle. The collapsible stock must be extended to its longest position to operate the charging handle while the riser is installed.
