Description
The Magpul MBUS 3 Gen 3 is a flip-up front sight for AR-platform rifles, intended as a back-up sight system. It is a successor to the original MBUS and MBUS Pro, combining features from both in a smaller package.
The sight is constructed of impact-resistant polymer and is black in color. It measures 0.44 inches high when folded and 1.15 inches at its widest point, and sits at standard AR height when deployed. It is spring-loaded and deployed with an ambidextrous push-button. Tool-less elevation adjustment is provided, with 1.6 MOA per click on a 14.5-inch sight radius and 1.2 MOA per click on a 20-inch sight radius. It has a dual-width enhanced front sight.
The sight clamps to mil-spec 1913 Picatinny rails and is listed as fitting the AR-10, AR-15, M4, M16, M110 and SR-25 platforms.
