Description
The Magpul MOE M-LOK Carbine handguard is a polymer replacement for standard plastic AR-15 and M4 carbine-length hand guards. It is built for shooters who want modular mounting without the weight and cost of an aluminum rail system. M-LOK slots at the two, six, and ten o'clock positions accept MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail sections and other direct-attach M-LOK accessories such as tactical lights, slings, and grips.
The handguard uses reinforced, heat-resistant polymer construction in Olive Drab Green and measures 6.6 inches in overall length. Front extensions and a lower lip help protect the operator's hand from the hot front sight assembly. It is compatible with both direct impingement and most piston-driven gas systems.
It installs using the existing delta ring and either the round or triangular front hand guard retaining cap, so no additional hardware is needed for the base installation.
