Magpul Hunter X-22 Backpacker Optic Mount Black Aluminum for Ruger 10/22 Takedown

The Magpul Hunter X-22 Backpacker Optic Mount is a black aluminum barrel block scope base for the Ruger 10/22 Takedown. It replaces the factory takedown barrel block and gives the rifle a rail for mounting an optic on the Magpul X-22 Backpacker stock.

Because the mount attaches to the barrel, it is intended to help the optic retain zero when the rifle is taken down and reassembled. A relief cut in the rail allows the factory iron sights to remain usable, and the mount is intended for use with small red dot sights.

The mount is designed to fit the Ruger 10/22 Takedown when paired with the Magpul Hunter X-22 Backpacker stock. Its overall length is 6.75 inches.
