This product is cleverly crafted to provide the ideal balance between the light weight of a standard hand guard and the versatility offered by modular construction.Its key feature lies in the M-LOK slots located at the two, six and ten o\'clock positions. These slots allow for seamless attachment of optional 1913 Picatinny rail sections as well as other M-LOK accessories. You can directly mount a wide range of tactical gear, such as lights, slings, grips, etc.The MAG427-BLK hand guard also boasts a reinforced, heat-resistant polymer construction for enduring performance. An integral riveted aluminum heat shield backs this feature. The front extensions and the lower lip provide extra protection for the operator from the heat of the front sight assembly.This product can effectively replace standard plastic M16-type rifle-length hand guards. It is compatible with both \'direct impingement\' and a majority of piston-driven gas systems. The hand guard is simple to install using existing delta ring and either a triangular or round front hand guard retaining cap.
