Description
The Magpul MBUS Pro Offset Rear Sight is a flip-up iron sight designed to back up a magnified optic on an AR-15 or similar rifle with a Picatinny rail. Its intended use is as a fallback aiming system if the primary optic is damaged or nonfunctional, or for close-range targets, with the shooter rotating the rifle 45 degrees to bring the offset sight into use.
The sight is made of steel and finished with Melonite QPQ for wear and corrosion resistance. It has dual rear apertures, positive detents in both the up and down positions, and tool-less windage adjustment with a low-profile knob. When deployed it sits at standard AR height over bore.
It mounts on MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny or STANAG 4694 rail surfaces. The rear sight is black.
