The Magpul Hunter 700 is a black stock for the Remington 700 short action, built for right-handed shooters. It is designed as a replacement stock for hunting and precision rifles on this platform.
The stock is made of polymer and aluminum with a black hardcoat anodized finish. It offers a length of pull adjustment range of approximately 13.0 to 15.0 inches. It is compatible with aftermarket barrel profiles up to a Medium Palma (0.920 inch diameter at 5.50 inches forward of the breech) and accepts most factory and aftermarket triggers.
Fit is limited to right-hand receivers. Blind floorplate ADL models require current factory Remington hinged bottom metal or an optional replacement, and raised components may cause interference. Action mounting screws vary in length, so grinding or longer replacement screws may be needed for proper fit.
