Marlin Golden 39-A 22 Short/Long/LR 24" Semi-Auto Rifle (1964)

A nice, original Marlin Golden 39-A from 1964, chambered for .22 short, long, and long rifle. Serial number Y1389 provides manufacture date. Features a 24" micro groove barrel, full length tubular magazine, takedown action, gold-colored trigger, open sights, plus a walnut stock and forearm with attractive figuring. It retains good original bluing, with normal handling wear and some light localized pitting/finish wear near the muzzle and on the sight hood. The walnut shows scattered handling marks consistent with use and its age. It's a desirable New Haven made, pre-safety Golden 39-A from the classic Marlin era.
