Marlin ~ Model 336A ~ .30-30 Winchester

This Marlin Model 336A was manufactured in 1950 and is Ballard-rifled equipped. The rifling is strong and near excellent with some stubborn fowling on some of the groves. The barrel has largely toned to a blue grey patina. The receiver, magazine tube and lever retain an estimated 80% of the original bluing. The smooth walnut stocks rate very good with scattered dings and handling marks. The original bullseye and buttplate are intact. Markings are softened but visible. There is a hammer shoe attached. The rifle appears to function well mechanically.
