MAS MLE 1949-56 7.5x54mm French Semi-Auto Rifle

The MAS Mle 194956 (Fusil semi-automatique 7,5 mm modèle 1949/56) was France's first truly successful semi-automatic battle rifle, designed and produced by the Manufacture d'Armes de Saint-Étienne (MAS). It was a product of postWorld War II French military modernization, born from wartime design work and refined through colonial conflicts. It became one of the most reliable semi-automatic rifles of its era, serving France and its allies for over three decades before being replaced by the FAMAS. This example is in good condition. The action is smooth and the bore is bright. No box or case.
