The Maxim Defense PDW Picatinny Rail Stock is a black anodized aluminum stock designed for rifles with a rear-facing 1913 Picatinny rail mount. Its PDW-style design is intended to give shooters an adjustable buttstock that can be collapsed or extended to suit different shooting positions.
The stock is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and weighs 1.04 lbs. It offers length adjustments from 4.5 inches fully closed to 9.28 inches fully extended, with intermediate positions at 5.75, 6.9 and 8.13 inches. The rods are vertically adjustable so they do not interfere with the firearm's controls.
A QD sling mount comes pre-installed for attaching a sling. The extension tube doubles as watertight storage for small items.
