This dual purpose accessory is precision machined from a solid billet of 6061-T6 aluminum to provide excellent strength without adding any unnecessary weight. The primary function is to mitigate mirage, helping you maintain a clear view of your target during periods of sustained fire, but also provides more surface to control the front end of your rifle without having to grab a hot barrel. This accessory can also be used as an attachment point for night vision devices with its 3 integrated M-LOK slots on the top of the bridge, allowing you to co-witness the device to your scope at 20 MOA. In addition the Mirage Shield/Night Vision Bridge utilizes a large diameter barrel clearance that will fit the contour of most aftermarket barrels.
