The 40 MOA incline built into the rail gives shooters extra elevation adjustment headroom which matters most when running magnified optics at extended distances where standard 20 MOA bases run out of travel. Contoured edges prevent snagging on gear or clothing during field carry and the direct-mount design keeps the optic low and centered over the bore for a natural cheek weld. An integrated recoil lug machined into the underside of the rail engages the receiver to keep the base from shifting under repeated recoil impulses protecting the mounting screws from shear stress over time. The rail ships complete with mounting hardware so installation onto a CZ 452 requires no additional parts.
