Before the advent of rapid powder measure technology MEC developed a charge bar that could quickly be applied to a live charging rod. The advantage offered by this charge bar compared to competing products is that it can be switched from charging with a carbide tip to a magnetic stirring bar with no loss of priming. When the charging bar is in place the only tools needed to be swapped out are your powder measure and afocal indicator. MEC has developed a line of products based on the 302 press that includes: a charging bar powder funnel and rotatable die based roll.
