The dimple design in the follower tube accepts standard Mec-Gar floorplates springs and followers. The magazine fits the Taurus PT 100 and 101 magnum caliber pistols. The magazine spring is a high tensile music wire that is tied into a "bunch" of fine Japanese paper that is very strong and very stiff. The somewhat softer polymers of the filling do not stretch over the long term ensuring that the magazines serve you well for a very long time.
