Description
The Mec-Gar Government Commander is a 10-round detachable magazine for 1911-platform pistols chambered in .45 ACP. It is intended as a replacement or spare magazine for Colt 1911 Government pattern handguns.
The magazine is made of carbon steel with a blued finish. Its follower and base are designed to withstand heavy use, and the spring is fabricated from high tensile spring wire with reinforced coils. Mec-Gar also manufactures magazines sold under other firearm brands, and this model is offered at a lower price point than many comparable steel magazines.
