Description
The Mec-Gar Commander magazine is a 9-round replacement magazine for 1911-pattern pistols chambered in 38 Super. It is built on a blued carbon steel body and is intended for use in 1911 Government-size handguns.
Mec-Gar magazines use high tensile spring wire with reinforced coils and stiffening folds to support feeding force. The base is available in fiber-filled nylon or heat-treated steel, and the body is carbon steel AISI 1010 in this blued finish. This listing is for the blue carbon steel version rated at 9 rounds.
The magazine fits 1911 Government pistols and is specified for the 38 Super cartridge only.
