Description
The Mec-Gar Prodigy 2011 9mm Luger magazine is a replacement magazine for 2011-platform pistols, including the Springfield Prodigy and 2311 models. It holds 18 rounds of 9mm Luger in a black finish with an anti-friction coating intended to ease loading and resist corrosion.
The magazine body is carbon steel, with a redesigned tube that has been heat-treated for strength. The internal components are interlinked, and the spring is formed from high tensile spring wire with reinforced coils. The base is a polymer or steel component depending on the version.
