Description
This Mec-Gar magazine is a 15-round replacement magazine for the Sig P228 and Sig P229 pistols chambered in 9mm Luger. It is built from carbon steel with a blued finish, and it is intended to restore or supplement the capacity of these pistols.
The magazine has a 15-round capacity and a carbon steel body with a blue finish. Its spring is made from high tensile strength spring wire with reinforced coils and stiffening folds to increase thrust force. The base is either fiber-filled nylon or heat-treated steel, depending on the version.
Mec-Gar builds magazines for several firearm brands, and this model is listed for use in Sig P228 and Sig P229 pistols only. Verify compatibility with your pistol before ordering.
